The South Coast Conference has 11 men's basketball teams, but only conference champions in North Division first-place East Los Angeles College and South Division co-title holders Cerritos and Los Angeles Southwest earned seeds into the 2020 Southern California Regional Playoffs.

The Huskies (27-1) are on a 23-game win streak after completing a perfect 8-0 trip to win their fifth straight SCC North crown and sixth in the last seven years after no conference titles in their first 18 years as a South Coast member.

On the final night of the regular season on Feb. 21, LA Southwest defeated Cerritos, 60-57, and in doing so grabbed a share of its first SCC South Division title in eight years. The Cougars and Falcons finished with 8-2 division records. Cerritos wins its third South championship in a row and 25th in its history dating back to its first conference crown back in 1971.

ELAC earned the #2 seed for the regionals and Cerritos also gets a home game as a #8 seed. LA Southwest just snuck into the playoffs as the #22 and final seed.

The All-South Coast Conference teams were selected Sunday and features SCC North MVP Kealen Allen of East LA and SCC South MVP Kester Ofoebgu of Long Beach. John Mosley was selected for his fifth straight SCC North Coach of the Year award while LASW's Calvin Kyles picked up the South coaches award.
