Mt. San Antonio College completed an undefeated route for the fourth straight season to capture the South Coast Conference women's swimming and diving dual meet title. The Mounties finished 7-0 and extended their conference dual meet win streak to 37 dating back to the 2015 season.

Long Beach City took second place at 6-1 while Cerritos came in third at 5-2.

The Mounties have the best conference times in the 200-yard medley relay (2:03.46) and 400 freestyle relay (4:04.30). Two of the team's best swimmers are Erin DeAnda and Colleen Gamboa.

However, in the other individual swimming events performed in conference dual meets, the best times belonged to two women not from Mt. SAC. El Camino's Ida Due owns the best SCC times thus far in a remarkable eight events--the 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 1,000 freestyle, 100 and 200 backstroke, 100 and 200 butterfly, and 200 individual medley. The other is Carmen Ung of Pasadena City. Ung has performed the fastest marks in the 50 and 100 freestyle and the 100 and 200 breaststroke events.

Fortunately for other conference swimmers, Due and Ung can only take part in three individual events at the upcoming 2019 SCC Championships to be held at Mt. SAC April 18-20.
